Making Good Use

Yutang Lin

Worldly worries and bothers are just dusts,
Blurring clarity to produce blind collisions.
After keeping years of solitude for practice,
Ask myself if life has been put to good use.

Comment:

Worldly life is full of bustling; no leisure for reflection. Passing days on superficial activities, one is wasting away the entire life. Practitioners maintain solitude so that long afterwards clarity would emerge. Then it is natural to reflect on life and ask oneself: what am I doing with my life?
