Right Path

Yutang Lin

Trickery and power do not hold sway forever.
Independently one can still proceed forward.
Right path is hard to recognize to walk along.
Suddenly comprehended, it is open and clear.

Comment:

Ways that are dependent on power and trickery may be convenient for a while but would not last for long. They cannot form the regular path. Without depending on transient devices but can be followed by everyone, such an approach would fit the right path. This insight is difficult to attain; therefore, ordinary people are mostly groping in devious paths. Once this insight is comprehended, all of a sudden self-centered illusions would all vanish and the state of mind becomes open and clear.
