Awakening through ObservationYutang LinSearch for the truth is originally a free enterprise; Comment: The goal of Buddhist teachings is to reveal and explain enlightenment, and also to help people comprehend and attain enlightenment. Therefore, it does not rely on authoritarian monopoly, but instead makes known clearly that there is a path of "Awakening through Observation." It recognizes the possibility that sentient beings may directly comprehend the truth through their own independent observation and research on all conditional phenomena. Buddhist practitioners should understand this point, and aspire toward going beyond worldly views that are born of grasping to forms, the human-centered point of view, the instinct to struggle for life and to avoid death, etc. Only thus can a practitioner clearly and surely get hold of the direction and steps of Dharma practices.
