Do prostration three times to the Triple Gem, then fold palms together and sincerely recite:
1. Namo Sakyamuni Buddha (three times)
2. Lineage Refuge Tree Supplication (three times)
Original Purity, oh, Patriarch Guru Chen!
Vajra Lotus, oh, Guru Lin!
The Right Dharma lineage of Manjusri and Guan Yin,
Harmonized wisdom and compassion to spread everywhere!
3. Supplication to Bodhisattva Guan Yin (three times)
Practicing deep wisdom of Blank Essence, and thereby transcending all sufferings.
All things being originally pure, observing sounds to enter deep tranquility.
Wisdom and compassion in harmony, retracing sounds to save beings from dangers.
Applying thirty-two kinds of responses to resolve sentient beings' ignorant grasping.
4. Praise (three time)
White Chenrezi emits pure lights,
Spiritual nature of sentient beings in all directions are revealed!
White Chenrezi enunciates clear sounds,
Sorrows of sentient beings at all times are eradicated!
White Chenrezi always remembered,
Even trapped in the mire of sorrows one is still spotless!
White Chenrezi is the savior,
Reaching all cries for help in perils and sufferings!
5. Chanting
(Repeat one of the followings for certain number of times as decided by the practitioner.)
A. Namo Bodhisattva Guan Shi Yin
B. Weng Ma Ni Bei Mi Hong
6. Dedication
Supplication to the Trinity of Wisdom, Compassion and Might
Wisdom of Manjusri sheds light on my mind;
Grant me original purity to see all things as they are.
Compassion of Avalokitesvara with tears moistens my mind;
Grant me innocence to become free from grumbling.
Might of Mahasthanaprapta shakes my mind;
Grant me awakening to become free from attachment.
The Trinity of Wisdom, Compassion and Might in harmony,
Grant me merits of Enlightenment to salvage sentient beings.

Epilog
Upasaka Liao of Taipei, Taiwan would like to have a simplified ritual of Guan Yin for his own practice, so he asked me if he can imitate the simplified ritual for Medicine Guru Buddha to compile one using my works. I told him what to do and he had come up with a ritual. I had reviewed and revised it. The final version is as presented above.
People who wants to use such simplified rituals had better first learn the original full-length rituals, and then practice the simplified version only when time or energy does not permit following the longer ritual. After they have studied the longer ritual, it is permissible that they first try out with the simplified version, and then gradually adopt the full-length version.
Attain Enlightenment Soon!
