Attached is the Thangka of Guru Chen, and I believe that you had seen it in the past.
附呈的是陳上師的唐卡，我相信您以前已經看過。
It is also Guru Chen's face on Manjusri riding a dragon.
這騎著龍的文殊也是陳上師的臉。
This is his Thangka made according to his instructions. And many believe that he is a transformation of Manjusri.
此唐卡是依照陳上師的指示來畫的，而且很多人都相信他是文殊的化身。
So the Guru Golden Guan Yin Thangka is nothing new in the history of Tibetan Thangkas.
所以上師金觀音的唐卡對西藏唐卡歷史而言並不是什麼新鮮事。

I have received a photo of a thangka of Cherezing with your face, standing among many other statues of the buddhas.

Let me get it right, sir. Is it a Sambhogakaya form Sadakasari Avaalokiteśvara in Tibetan style, which has got a human face painted onto it (your own?). What is the reason?

Explain it for me please as it is a complete novelty in Buddhist art history as far as I know.

It is not new in Tibetan Tantra that Guru is to be identified with your Yidam in this way.
