戒律、貪道、本來清淨



這一篇是有關男女之愛的問題,可能是很多居士想問又不敢問的問題。基於正法的討論及為了讓行者在這方面有正確的觀念,因此林博士慈悲的允許我們公開之。

問:弟子除皈依上師和三寶外,沒有受任何戒。一方面,弟子覺得受戒是非同兒戲的事,一定要符合佛制。另一方面,擔心受了戒而犯戒,所以沒有求戒。那麼弟子應該怎樣修學,漸歸於正道,而不會墮落退轉?

答:Just receive it gradually. Receive those that you think you can keep first, then gradually receive the rest.
只要逐漸地接受。首先接受那些你認為自己可以持的戒律,然後漸漸接受其餘。

Guru Chen never gave me silas. Our approachis more of the type that, if your Bodhicitta is strong, then you will not do things in violation of it. So it is not so much a detail accounting of actions.
陳上師從未授予我戒律。我們的方式比較是說,如果你的菩提心堅實,那麼你就不會背道而馳地做事情。因此比較不是斤斤於細節。

問:「戒是一切功德安穩住處」。如果不受戒,因為起嗔恨等等,是不是功德沒法安住?
答:Don't become nervous. One gradually attains perfection naturally through long years of practices. Just continue to walk on the path with sincerity, then things will improve.
不用焦慮。經由多年實修,一個人才會逐漸地自然而然地成為完善。只要繼續真誠地行道,而後情況就會改善。

問:何謂貪道?
答: You go into desires and keep a sense of practice, so that gradually you realize that your desires and objects of desires are no big deal, naturally the same as everything else, and you become not bound by them, but are free even with them.
你進入欲望之中並且保持一個修法的意圖,因而你逐漸地體會到你的欲望和欲望的物件都沒有什麼,而是自然地同所有其他一切都一樣的,而你變成不再被它們綁住,甚而在它們中得自在。

問:是不是說諸法本來清淨,所以如果能悟到“本來清淨”,那麼就無所謂貪與不貪、淨與不淨之分別?
答:Yes. But you need to go through training and practice to arrive at the real realization. It is not just a matter of mind thinking this or that.
是的。但是你需要通過訓練和實修以達真正的證悟。它不是一件心裏想成這樣或那樣的事。

問:基於一切本淨,所以只要自己喜歡的都可以供養上師,以消除我執;另一方面,要證此「本來清淨」,唯有上師可以賜予。
答: Yes. But you need to make efforts by continuing Dharma practices and services, so that your maturity will grow to the extent that such blessing becomes effective.
是。但是你必須努力繼續佛法上的的實修和服務,以便你成熟到此種加持會對你有效的程度。

問:上師令弟子將男女之愛也想成供養。既然是供養,當然應該補缺和迴向,所以弟子在其後也作此二項。
答:Good.
好。

問:上師曾開示 Normal正常. 是說如用嘴等等也是可以嗎?
答:Sure. Just feel free. Then gradually you will understand what it is. If you keep thinking, then you cannot realize it as it is.
當然。儘管自由自在的。然後漸漸你將瞭解它是怎樣的。如果你老用思考,則不能如實體驗之。

問:陳上師和您都強調小乘的基礎極為重要,而苦空、無常、嚴守戒律這些觀點又是修禪的基礎,禪定又是獲得證悟的基礎。第一個問題是,要觀苦空無常到什麼程度才會引發持戒,從而順利習定。第二個問題是,怎樣在心理上平衡苦空無常和夫婦之道。是否說可以通過訓練在欲望中達到禪定?(二○○五年七月五日補充)
答:Every instant is at the juncture of life and death.
Every activity is practice to a practitioner. Attainment is result of years of dedicated practice.
每一瞬間皆為生死關頭。
實修者的每一行為皆是修法之機緣。證悟乃經年專注修行之結果。
