廿五年前曾作〈金剛經補綴〉，建議該經應列出「佛，即非佛，是名佛」以達成該經徹底解脫一切法執之義理。 近日在講解《金剛經》，見到〈離相寂滅分第十四〉內，有「離一切諸相，即名諸佛」。這是明確地指出，佛只是一個名字，用來稱謂不為所有觀念局限的情況。這也印證了，我所建議的補綴是吻合經義的。 關於《金剛經》的其他拙作都收在《金剛智慧》一書中。

25 years ago, I wrote ″Appendix to the Diamond Sutra″ to propose that the Sutra should have included the syllogism ″Buddha, is non-Buddha, is named ′Buddha′″ so as to fulfill its intended purpose of thorough emancipation from all grasping to Dharma. Recently I have been expounding, in Mandarin, this Sutra in Chinese. In section 14, ′Tranquil Cessation beyond Form′, I noticed the statement, ″Being free from all forms is named as the ′Buddhas′″. This definitely points out that Buddha is just a name, used to indicate a state of freedom from the limitations of all concepts. This also demonstrates that the appendix I proposed is in complete accord with the Sutra′s teachings. All other works of mine in English that are related to the ″Diamond Sutra″ are collected in the book, ″Diamond Wisdom″.
