Normally did not make offerings to Buddha in daily life,
Upon emergency still hoped for extraordinary blessings.
Causes sowed and consequences hoped not matching,
In the Dharmadhatu such matters cannot be working!
Comment:
When one hopes for something, one should consider the causal situations. Long-term cultivation of opportune causes will gain fruits upon maturity of conditions. Out of Buddhas' compassion sometimes inspirations will arise as rewards and encouragements. To be secure constantly in the long run, step by step walk on solid ground.
