Pro and Con　Yutang Lin

Opposite directions on the same path are labeled pro and con.
When like or dislike arises attachment underlying is to be found.
Drop complains and comparisons to continue marching forward.
Open and broad road ahead would be plain and even all the way.

Comment:

On the path to enlightenment whenever one likes favorable situations or dislikes adverse conditions that would be a good opportunity to become aware of one's attachment. One should become aware of the underlying attachment and let it go. When one has learned to treat all situations equally, the path is plain and even all the way.
