The Rapid Falls of Time　Yutang Lin

Rapid and turbulent is the river of Time,
Rushing directly toward the falls of impermanence.
Sooner or later, not much difference, everyone faces it;
How could people have the leisure to compete over anything?

Comment:

Time flies like a river rapid. All lives end in death, just as if the river ends in bottomless falls. Being unaware of when it will be the time of one's own plunging, all people who are still floating on the river of time, what is there for you to fight for?
