主旨： A0349 Daily Visit to Cemetery 每日墳場常課
Every morning I go to the Sunset View Cemetery, nearby my home, in El Cerrito, California.
I bring with me rice and peanuts; rice was first offered to Buddha in the morning the previous day, and then offered to ghosts in the evening, and peanuts were offered to ghosts in the previous evening.
Upon arrival at a fixed spot, where there is a cement path stretching among graves, on Mondays and Thursdays, weather permitting, I will perform Powa service there.
After the Powa services or right away on the remaining days, I will scatter rice along the path so more animals will have access to them.
After rice was gone, then I turn around and scatter the peanuts on the way back from that end of the path. In this way I can avoid stepping on peanuts and crush them.
Turkeys, squirrels, crows, wood-peckers, various kinds of small birds, and seasonal migrating geese have shown up to have a breakfast, sometimes in large numbers.
And then, I will burn 7 sheets, or more when I pick up more sheets at a time, of Medicine Guru Buddha’s Mantra sheets, and pray to the 7 Medicine Guru Buddhas for all sentient beings suffering from illness, physical or mental.
When I am in town, I do these rain or shine.
When I am out of town, I ask some people who also comes to the cemetery daily in the morning to continue the scattering of rice and peanuts for me.
This morning it was sunny, and a visiting disciple took video shots of this daily routine.

每天早上我都去我家附近的日落景墳場，位於加州愛捨利多市。
前一天早上供佛的米，在晚上轉供鬼類；晚上還添供帶殼花生給鬼類。這些米及花生就帶去墳場。
到了固定的一處，那兒有一條水泥小徑蜿蜒於眾墳間。每逢週一及週四，天氣許可，我就在此處修頗瓦法渡亡。
在修頗瓦之後，或者在其餘日子，我馬上沿著小徑分撒米，以便更多動物能分享。
撒完米，我就轉頭沿著小徑分撒花生；這樣可以避免踩碎花生。
火雞，松鼠，烏鴉，啄木鳥，好幾種小鳥，以及季節性的候鳥都曾來用此早餐。有時會來一大群。
隨後我就化藥師佛咒聖符，至少7張（因為分取7次時，有時一次取多於一張），為所有在身心上有病苦的眾生祈請藥師七佛的加被。
我在家時，這個晨課，風雨無阻。
我因法務外出時，則請每日早晨都會來墳場的識者代勞撒米及花生。
