Rejoicing in Others' Good Deeds

Yutang Lin

To others' good intentions and righteous actions
With an open mind
Offer praises and approval, even helping hands
Then harmony will prevail

Insisting on one's point of views, to the expel of others'
Forgotten the multifarious colorful phenomena of nature
Futilely stand alone in bitter coldness of isolation

Practitioners of pure intentions
Alas, often may lack practices of rejoicing in others' good deeds
And hence withered in biases

Broaden and open one's mind through rejoicing in others
With open mind to practice rejoicing in others
Joyful harmony will be the sweet fruit that gradually ripened
