Grace of Guidance

Dr. Yutang Lin

One blind in eyes could still be led by pulling.
How to guide someone who is blind in mind?
Giving indications to help escape silly illusion,
Grace profound lies in rarity of such occasion.

Comment:

Bias and narrowness of others' views and silliness of their attachments are both difficult to explain so that they could realize their own mistakes and often impossible to give advice on, due to such people's self-righteousness. Therefore, when we awoke from some ignorant illusion through other's guidance we should realize that the grace was very profound because such was indeed a rather rare occasion of good fortune.
