One but not Alone

Yutang Lin

Stranded circumstances are eventually faced by one;
The fate of each sentient being cannot be substituted.
Realizing that sentient beings are all similarly fragile,
Single-mindedly to save and help would unify minds.

Comment:

All sorts of suffering in the world would eventually come face to face with us. The extremely lonely state is the real situation of each sentient being. Right at such a juncture, turn and look around to comprehend the path of awakening. Rather than suffering alone, one had better empathize with others. All sentient beings unify in the same awareness, helping one another to face our similar predicaments. May the elucidation of such awakening soothe universally all suffering beings!
