One Taste

Yutang Lin

Understanding of Dharma unified into one taste,
Solid and plain practice without discriminations,
Bound by self-imposed limits indicates grasping,
Rounded view and thorough action to be learned.

Comments:

Teachings of Dharma are applicable to all situations. Application of the teachings is to be exercised in daily life. If one still makes the distinction between personal matters and Dharma activities, then it is an indication that one's views are not unified yet and that one's activities are still not thoroughly in accordance with the Dharma.
