Drifting Duckweed

Yutang Lin

Never encountered yet suddenly got together;
Separated again by swirling, swelling waves.
Nowhere to be found, looking back is useless.
Not by self-determination, drifting on current.

Comments:

Duckweed and water encountered; they separate as soon as conditions disintegrate. Caused by currents, how could that be self-determined? Vain to look back; each be content with whatever comes across.
