I had heard that kind of comments in the past. But no need to worry, just think like this: Different ingredients have different functions; with this offering may each ingredient performs its best functions, either to satisfy the sentient beings, or to drive away hindrances.
以前我曾聽過這類的說法。但是不必擔心，只要想成說不同的成份有不同的作用，以此供養，願每種成份發揮它最好的功用， 或者飽養有情，或者驅離障礙。

惠琳有個問題請示：
She is doing smoke offering everynight to the beings in the six realm. In the past, she was during the pre-mixed ingredient that bought from the shop which the smell was mild. Recently, she got another new brand that the smell is comparatively stronger. One of her dharma friend advised her not to use such strong one to offer especially to the beings in the six realm because that may be very sentive or hurt them. This friend must be heard someone. After such comment, her mind was a bit uncomfortable and needs you advise.
她每天晚上為六道眾生做煙供。以前她是在店家購買已調好味道溫和的原料。最近，她換了新品牌，而那味道相對的聞起來強多了。她的一位法友告誡她不要使用這麼強烈的東西來供養，特別是對六道的眾生，因為那太刺激了可能會傷害他們。這位友人可能是從某位人士那聽到的。自此聽了這勸誡之後，她的心有點難過，因此需要您的開示。
