Gain and Loss in Oneness　Yutang Lin

Whatever is obtained originated from oneness of all,
Whatever is given up returns to the totality of all things.
Whatever is gained is the gaining of all,
Whatever is lost is still within oneness of all.

Comment:

Comprehending that all are in oneness, one's feelings and enjoyment reach all sentient beings. Offerings and donations are naturally to be done, while gains and losses amount to neither increase nor decrease.
