Undertaking　Yutang Lin

Wise or foolish to great variance, good and evil mixed;
Longing for perfection, where in the world to be found?
Stop and give up comparisons to exit the narrow arena;
Undertaking the totality as a whole, one sees panorama.

Comment:

It is only rare to see perfection in this world. One needs to first stop comparison and haggling in order to exit narrow-minded shallowness. Then one needs to learn to undertake things in totality, and only afterwards will one be able to see things with a panoramic view.
